We’re back again with the round up of all things new on Disney+ in February. There’s a great mix of films and tv shows making their way to the streaming platform this month and Disney Channel fans are in for some major throwbacks to the mid-2000’s, including the first season of the Disney Channel Games. We’ve highlighted a few new additions that we’re most looking forward to below!
American Dragon: Jake Long
Finally making its way to Disney+ are both seasons of the fan favorite show American Dragon: Jake Long. Originally airing from 2005-2007, the show follows the story of Jake Long. Jake comes from a long line of dragons and is tasked with protecting the entire magical community in New York City. We’re excited to rewatch American Dragon and relive some of our fave moments!
You can check out the 15-year anniversary video that was posted to the Disney Channel YouTube last year!
The Muppet Show
If Disney Channel nostalgia isn’t quite your cup of tea, maybe the addition of the five seasons of the Muppet Show will be more your thing. Originally airing from the mid 70s to the early 80s, the Muppet Show features Kermit, Miss Piggy, and crew as they get into some wild shenanigans. Seasons 4 and 5 of the show were never released on DVD or online in any way, making this digital add huge news for the Muppet family.

Flora & Ulysses
Based on an award-winning book, the film Flora & Ulysses follows 10-year-old Flora who is a huge comic book fan. With her parents recently separated, Flora rescues a squirrel with superpowers who comes to change her life for the better. Based on the trailer, the movie has a fun premise and we’re curious to check out the whole thing when it starts streaming next week on February 19th.
Myth: A Frozen Tale
Set to stream on February 26, Myth: A Frozen Tale will definitely satisfy your need for new Frozen content! As reported by Collider, this VR short film was only available to audiences who attended the premiere of Frozen 2 back in 2019. The version that will be released on Disney+ will be a non-VR version, so you don’t have to worry about needing a special headset to view it. With a massive storybook feel to it, Myth presents us a lovely look at Arendelle in a unique way!
