Disney and the Make-A-Wish Foundation have had a partnership for more than 40 years which has allowed kids and families to get that touch of Disney magic when they need it. News of a new kind of collaboration between Disney and Make-A-Wish was shared on the Disney Parks Blog on October 22, 2020 that will be launched in three phases over the next few months.
Starting off the new product offerings is the “Wishes Come True Blue” collection, an all new color collection that features classic Disney pieces like ears, Spirit Jerseys, and more. The collection will be available in Disney Parks today as well as online and in Disney stores.
In addition to the launch, each item that is purchased from the collection from October until World Wish Day 2021 “in the US, Canada and across Europe, Disney will donate 25 percent of the purchase price (up to US $500,000) to Make-A-Wish.” This is the first Disney color collection that is both supporting and celebrating a nonprofit’s overall impact as well!
Two of our favorite pieces in the collection include the Wishes Come True Blue face mask and the Walt Disney World Pullover top!
The facemask varies depending on where you buy it, with the Disneyland or Walt Disney World logo on the left side, letting you rep your favorite park!
The Walt Disney World Pullover top comes in the striking blue and features “Walt Disney World” across the front in silver script. We love this cozy top, especially with autumn and cooler weather on the way!
The entire collection is available on shopDisney.com. Are you loving these new releases for a great cause? Let us know in the comments below!
