A Roundup of This Week’s Disney News

About

We’ve got updates from the theme parks on both coasts, so buckle up, Discrew! Here’s everything that happened in Disney news this week.

First, let’s talk Disneyland Resort. Did you know you can now sign up for private fitness classes that take place inside the parks? That’s right — Disney hotel guests in California can take a variety of workout and wellness classes on Disney property, including Disney California Adventure. Click here to get the full scoop.

In other Disneyland news, love is in the air and Valentine’s Day treats are now available. Find the foodie guide here!

Next, we’re hopping over to Florida for some Walt Disney World updates. This Spring, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is joining the lineup of theme parks available during Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, a perk exclusively for Deluxe Resort guests.

In other park news, two attractions closed for refurbishment — Expedition Everest and the Walt Disney World Railroad — are showing positive signs of reopening as they were spotted testing recently. We have our fingers crossed for some good news coming!

There’s also a new My Disney Experience app update that will allow guests the ability to sync their friends and family to the app with a quick scan of a QR code.

Finally, we’ve got a Disney World transportation update. The Sunshine Flyer shuttle service is now available for transportation to and from Orlando International Airport. It costs the same as Mears, but hey, who doesn’t want options on a Disney trip? Check it out here.
