It’s kind of hard to believe we’re already three months into 2021, but here we are! And with every new month, we’re back again with the round–up of all things Disney Plus for March. From the long-awaited Raya and the Last Dragon to the second MCU show exclusive to the streaming platform, there are some great new things being added this month! As always, we’ve highlighted a few new things coming that we’re most excited about too, so take a look!

Raya and the Last Dragon

Premiering on March 5 on Disney Plus, Raya and the Last Dragon has been a longgg awaited movie! Following the story of the warrior Raya, the movie is set up to be a massive adventure piece. Featuring a world where humans and dragons live together, a certain evil presence is making itself known. We’re hype to see what the whole movie brings to the table after getting a glance of the epic trailer alone!

Note: Raya and the Last Dragon launches as “Premier Access” for an additional fee of $29.99. The film will be available to all Disney+ subscribers for free on June 4th.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

After the massive success of Wandavision, it’s no surprise that we’re super excited for the second MCU show to hit Disney Plus. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier follows Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes in a post-Endgame world and will start releasing on March 19, 2021. And by the trailer, their team up on a “global adventure” is going to be high action and full of MCU-style humor!

(As a massive Falcon and Winter Soldier fan myself, I have to say this is one show I’ve been waiting to see forever!)

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers

All the Ducks fans, mark your calendar for March 26. The Mighty Ducks are back in Game Changers. One of the classic underdog team films, the Ducks are back as an established and highly competitive youth hockey team. A familiar face to OG fans can be found in Gordon Bombay, who’s back as a rink manager where a “new group of misfit kids” start their hockey journey!

Inside Pixar: Foundations – Batch 3

And last but not least, Inside Pixar: Foundations is back with new episodes! This documentary series has been giving animation fans an inside look at the animators and art that goes into Pixar films and shorts. This batch of episodes includes a close look at how characters are created and how light and color tie into emotion. Remember the very bright and festive color palette in Coco? There were reasons behind the colors used! We’re definitely looking forward to another peek behind the Pixar curtain.
