Starting in November visitors to the Downtown Disney District will be able to experience part of Disney California Adventure once more. In a post shared to the Disney Parks Blog, Disney announced that select shopping and dining experiences will be available once more on Buena Vista Street!
This extension of the Downtown Disney area follows the recent opening of the Disneyland resort Backlot Premiere Shop in Stage 17 that we shared earlier this month. This extension onto Buena Vista Street (which is located within the Disney California Adventure park) will be kept to select dining and shopping experiences that are outlined below! While this extension is opening, there’s no word on if we’ll see any of the holiday decor out.
Shared in the initial announcement, visitors can look forward to a variety of dining and shopping experiences.
Elias & Co., Julius Katz & Sons, and Kingswell Camera Shop will all be open for shopping, just in time for the holidays. From holiday merchandise to different frames and photo albums, there will be a wide variety of shopping opportunities.
For dining, there are a few different options! Trolley Treats will offer classic candies and a variety of fresh confections while vending carts will have various treats like churros, ice cream, and popcorn. Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe will be open for coffee.
Sit-down dining will be available at the Carthay Circle Lounge while mobile ordering will be the primary way to order for Smokejumpers Grill via the Disneyland App.
Disney California Adventure park is still currently closed, so the shopping and dining experiences mentioned above are only accessible through the Downtown Disney District at this time!
Set for sometime in November, an official opening date is expected to be announced soon.
