Initially introduced when the Walt Disney World parks reopened in July, the Disney Park Pass Reservation calendar serves as a way for visitors to book a specific park each day that they are visiting. This system was implemented to manage park capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The calendar has just been extended until January 2022. This change can be seen via the calendar available to guests who are looking to book days for their trips to the Walt Disney World parks.
Before, the reservation calendar had been extended until September 2021. With this new update, we can guess that the Disney Park Pass Reservation calendar is most likely going to be around for a while. With the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World approaching in October 2021, the reservation system will certainly see a lot of use by visitors!
So what does this mean for you when you go to visit? If you’re planning a visit to any of the Walt Disney World parks from now until 2022, you’ll need to ensure that you book park reservations in advance. The availability for park reservations is “based on your vacation package and ticket eligibility or ticket eligibility window”. So if you have plans for a visit, keep the Disney Park Pass Reservations in mind when you’re planning your visit and overall stay as reservations are limited.
