Disney Reservations 101: How to Snag a Disney World Park Pass

Booking it to Walt Disney World in 2022? This is what you’ve got to know about theme park reservations at the most magical place on Earth.

Okay, who exactly needs a park reservation for Disney World? In short, almost everyone. Every person in your party over the age of 3 needs to have a valid theme park admission (be it a theme park ticket or an Annual Pass) and a valid theme park reservation for the same day in order to enter a Disney World park.

So, how do you do actually book a park reservation? Well, if you’re planning a Disney World trip and buying tickets, here’s exactly what to do. After you’ve logged into your My Disney Experience account via the Walt Disney World website or app, you should double check the theme park reservation availability calendar. This will show you exactly which parks are available and which parks are fully booked for the dates you want to visit. Then, buy your tickets, and immediately make your reservations. At this time, you can make a park reservation as far in advance as January 2024. So, no matter how far out you’re planning your trip, make those reservations ASAP. You can always change them later!
