As Europe is struck by another wave of coronavirus cases, French President Emmanuel Macron has released new safety measures to be implemented across France starting on October 30. Non-essential businesses like bars and restaurants will close and people will not be allowed to leave home except for essential work or medical purposes. In light of these new safety measures, Disneyland Paris has announced that they will be closing down for the second time this year.

At the end of the day on October 29, 2020, the park will be temporarily closed due to the French authorities latest direction. In the park’s official statement, they do share that they have plans to take reservations from December 19-January 3 with the hope of opening back up for the holiday season.
Disneyland Paris also shared that they will close once again from January 4-February 12, 2021.
The official Disneyland Paris statement reads as:
In line with latest direction from the French authorities, Disneyland Paris will be closing end of day on October 29th. In anticipation of celebrating the Christmas holiday season we will be taking reservations from December 19 – January 3 and hope to be open based on prevailing conditions and government guidance at that time. Disneyland Paris will be closed from January 4 through February 12. Please check back on the website for regular updates.
