If you have ever made your way around the World Showcase in Epcot, you’ve probably seen people “Drinking around the World”. Drinking around the world is a favorite pastime of many Disney adults, which involves getting one drink at each of the eleven pavilions in the World Showcase. Completing this challenge is a favorite pastime of groups of friends and family visiting all year round and can add variety to your Walt Disney World Vacation!

Nowadays, it’s hard to visit Epcot when there is not a festival running. Epcot hosts a festival almost every day of the year, starting with The International Festival to the Arts all the way until Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. Festivals offer a new take on the traditional Drinking Around the World experience by adding food booths that serve drinks exclusive to the festival. 

One of the best times to visit Epcot and drink around the world is during The International Food and Wine Festival, which is running this year from July 15th to November 20th, a record 128 days! The 2021 Food and Wine festival hosts 33 festival booths all offering special festival menu items. If you are going to drink around the world while the festival is running, why not mix it up and make all 11 of your stops at festival booths!? We are breaking down our eleven favorite festival drinks to make sure you don’t miss any of the must-haves on your journey around the world!

11. GUINNESS AND BAILEYS SHAKE FROM THE IRELAND BOOTH*

A Guinness shake might not sound that good, but trust us, it’s amazing! The Guinness and Baileys come together in a delicious creamy frozen drink.

Alternate: If this doesn’t sound like the drink for you, try the Playalinda Brewing Company Luna Lemonade Ale or the Numanthia Termes Tinta de Toro Red Wine from the Refreshment Port right across the way! 

10. ITALIAN MARGARITA FROM THE ITALY BOOTH

Tequila and Limoncello, need we say more? This lemony drink will have you puckering your lips and going back for more.

Alternate: If you don’t like lemon or tequila, try the red or white sangria instead! 

9. FROZEN CAIPIRINHA FROM THE BRAZIL BOOTH*

A caipirinha is the national drink of Brazil so don’t miss out on this opportunity to try one! This zesty drink is a great choice in the Florida heat.

Alternate: Another less common drink to try is the Fig Cocktail with White-Cranberry Juice and Fig Vodka at the Tangerine Café Booth! Bonus- the Tangerine Café has air conditioning! 

8. MANGO LASSI FROM THE INDIA BOOTH*

The Lassi is a traditional drink from northern India made from yogurt, water, spices and sometimes fruit- in this case, mango! Epcot is the perfect place to try drinks you might not easily find elsewhere and the Mango Lassi is a great example of that. The India booth offers both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic version of this drink.

Alternate: If you don’t like mango, or you are visiting before the India Booth is open then stop by the nearby China Booth and try the Dragonfly made with tequila and vodka!

7. BEER FLIGHT AT HOPS AND BARLEY

If you’re a beer drinker then you can’t miss the Beer Flight at Hops and Barley. The flight features 81Bay Brewing Co. Strawberry and Lime, the SweetWater Brewing Company Hazy IPA, and the Lord Hobo Brewing Boom Sauce DIPA. 

Alternate: If these beers aren’t appealing to you try the beer flight at Brew-Wing or the cider flight also at Brew-Wing if beer isn’t your thing. Bonus- Brew-Wing is indoor and is a great spot to take a break in the AC.

6. CHILLED COFFEE FEATURING GODIVA CHOCOLATE LIQUEUR FROM THE BELGIUM BOOTH*

The Chilled Coffee in Belgium is a perfect way to start your day and get your daily dose of caffeine! The Belgium booth has been around since 2010 and has remained a fan favorite. 

Alternate: If you visit before the Belgium booth is open, grab the Black and White Coffee Cocktail from The Doughnut Box.

5. MIMOSA FLIGHT FROM SHIMMERING SIPS

Shimmering Sips offers three original and delicious mimosas and the best way to try them all is with the mimosa flight! The mimosa flight consists of smaller versions of the Tropical Mimosa, the Key Lime Mimosa, and the Blood Orange Mimosa.

Alternate: If you prefer a Bloody Mary over a mimosa then stop by the Swanky Saucy Swine for the Bourbon Bloody Mary which comes in a souvenir glass! 

4. APPLE BLOSSOM SKY FROM THE APPLESEED ORCHARD

You’ll feel like you are sitting fireside when you drink the Apple Blossom Sky! This drink is made with Apple Fanta, Ginger Beer, Floodwall Apple Brandy, and Burton’s Maplewood Farm Applejack Brandy Barrel-Aged Syrup, then it is topped off with Mini Marshmallows!

Alternate: The cider flight from the Appleseed Orchard is a great choice if the Apple Blossom Sky doesn’t catch your eye. Bonus- The Appleseed Orchard is inside the Canada 360 theater and is the perfect spot to cool off!

3. STRAWBERRY ROSE MIMOSA FROM THE FRANCE BOOTH

The France Booth is always one of the most popular booths of the festival, and this year is no different. The Strawberry Rose Mimosa is the perfect summer sip!

Alternate: You can also try the La Passion Martini Slush from the France booth which is both delicious and Instagramable!

2. EL TIGRE MARGARITA

You cannot drink around the world without making a stop in Mexico! Try the new El Tigre Margarita made with Ojo de Tigre Mezcal with Pomegranate, Pineapple, Prickly Pear, and Ginger Juice. El Tigre Margarita is served on the rocks and finished with a Hibiscus Salt Rim.

Alternate: You can’t go wrong with a classic! Try the La Clásica Reyes Margarita, also from the Mexico Booth.

1. AULANI SUNRISE

Time for an epic day of drinking around the world at EPCOT during the Food & Wine Festival

Dole is already a fan favorite among Disney fans so you can’t pass up an opportunity to try it in a drink! The Aulani Sunrise is tropical and refreshing, making it the perfect summer drink! 

Alternate: The Florida Orange Groves Sparkling Pineapple Wine is a great alternative that is just as refreshing!
