The Lunar New Year celebration has officially kicked off at Disney California Adventure! Honoring Asian cultures through food, entertainment, and festivities, Disney’s Lunar New Year is one of the park’s best annual events.
We absolutely love feasting on all of the seasonal food at Lunar New Year — but we’re also all about saving money when we can! So, if you’re heading to the park and want to try the variety of Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese snacks, here’s how to do it without breaking the bank.
Purchase a Sip and Savor Pass for $43 (you can even get one for $40 if you have a Magic Key!). This allows you to get six food or beverage items for an average of $7.17 each. But here’s how to strategize. Use your Sup and Savor Pass on items that cost more than the average. For those less expensive foods and drinks, just pay cash! For example, you could spend your Sip and Savor pass on the Firecracker Chicken Wings and Shrimp & Ginger Dumplings, but pay out of pocket for that Purple Yam Macaron. Trust us on this one, and you’re sure to save some money!
