Are you planning a trip to Walt Disney World and aren’t quite sure what dates to book? Perfecting the Magic has you covered! 2022 is a big year for Disney fans. The 50th Anniversary Celebration at WDW begins October 1, 2021, and we expect the New Year to draw big crowds. With new experiences, an ever-evolving pandemic, and the rollout of Disney Genie, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
The good news is we created our 2022 guide to the best days to visit Disney World with you in mind. There are plenty of crowd calendars out there—our goal is to help you schedule your trip based on your personal vacation style.
Whether you prefer shorter wait times, temperate weather, or more bustling, celebratory, and over-the-top holidays, we break it down to help you get the most out of your Disney vacation. Let’s get into it!
MANAGEABLE CROWDS
Are smaller crowds your top priority? Do you mind if an attraction is down for refurbishment? Do you not care if Disney is switching out seasonal décor?
Then visiting Walt Disney World during historically slow periods is perfect for you! If you hate waiting in line and you’re willing to be flexible, non-peak times at Disney can be so much fun, and tickets can be more affordable. You’ll enjoy much shorter wait times, lighter crowds, and still have plenty of magic around you.
