We consider ourselves serious foodies here at Disney Perfection. In fact we’ve eaten literally every dish on the menu at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The bad news? Our waistline. The good news? You can skip the misses and head straight to the greatest hits the next time you’re planetside. Just in time for May the 4th Be With You we’ve assembled the 4 must-eat dishes in Galaxy’s Edge that make up your perfect meal.
on The Side: Galma garlic puffed cheese chips
Start by grabbing the side that rules the galaxy. The Galma Garlic Puffed Cheese Chips are easy to miss while taking in the wonder of Batuu. These chips are crunchy, airy, cheesey salty perfection – ranking them as an absolute must eat. Find them prepackaged in a very ordinary looking brown paper bag at most food stands inside of Black Spire Outpost. For $6.00 you’ll get a bag that’s large enough to share with a friend (but you won’t want to.)
the main event: ronto wrap
For your entree dine on the lip smacking deliciousness of a Ronto Wrap. Available at Ronto Roasters this pita pocket full of space hot dog goodness is both filling and instantly crave-able. The chargrilled pita bread, tangy slaw and cooked up just right sausage deliver the perfect main event and paired with the garlic cheese puffs you’ll be pleasantly stuffed as you stroll the marketplace. If you’re plant based we love the meatless version too!
the drink: Blue milk
Wash it all down with a Skywalker family favorite: blue milk. On a hot day in the park nothing quite satisfies like an icy cup of this stuff. We love the almost coconut, mildly berry flavor of the blue stuff even more than the green. Pick yours up at the Milk Stand and remember to mobile order your cup on the Disney app – because strolling past the line makes your sips even sweeter.
dessert: Oi Oi Puff
Is dessert what you’ve actually been waiting for? When it comes to sweets in Galaxy’s Edge one stands above the rest – the Oi Oi Puff at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. Hang onto your tastebuds as they’re hit with the tangy passionfruit sauce and fluffy raspberry cream that’s nestled inside this cake. We love how truly alien this dessert looks all while packing a serious flavor punch. We recommend finishing off your meal with this pick if you’re a fan of tangy citrus desserts versus straight up sweet.
What does your perfect meal in Batuu look like? We put both the Smoked Kaadu Ribs and Batuu-bon on our honorable mentions list. Drop us your favorites in the comments below!
