Discrew, it’s been a week! We have plenty of Disney delights to share with you today, from some snack updates to a spa reopening to a new theme park ticket offer we know Walt Disney World fans will love. Keep reading for everything you need to know this week, and follow us on TikTok for daily pixie dust, Disney news, and other magical updates.
Disney Snack Updates
For all of our Disney foodies out there, we have some news for you, starting with Disneyland Resort. Chocolate-dipped frozen bananas have finally arrived at the happiest place on Earth. These are a dessert that so many guests have been waiting to arrive at Disneyland, so we’re so excited they’re here! Find dark or milk chocolate-dipped frozen bananas at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure.
Get ready to go bananas at Disney California Adventure! Beginning Jan. 10, enjoy dark or milk chocolate dipped frozen bananas at Clarabelle's Hand-Scooped Ice Cream with your choice of four toppings:

We also have a fun update for Walt Disney World in Florida! Disney World debuted even more new snacks for the 50th Anniversary Celebration this week! Now at Magic Kingdom, you can enjoy the following fun and festive treats:
- Chilling Chamber Push Pop at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments
- Orange and Almond Tart at Pinocchio Village Haus
- Cheers to 50 Years! (with a new look and flavors) sundae at The Plaza Restaurant
- Anniversary Cinnamon Roll at Main Street Bakery
- Donald Duck Dome Cake at Gaston’s Tavern
- Always Tea Time Slush at Cheshire Café
- Crooning Flowers Float at Aloha Isle
- Slue Foot Sue Fish Sandwich at Golden Oak Outpost
- Croque Monsieur Flatbread at Pinocchio Village Haus
Our next snack scoop isn’t such a magical one. We shared earlier this week that Disney dropped some new price increases on food and beverage offerings all across Walt Disney World Resort. Some increases were pretty minor, but others were, well, not so much (you’ll now be paying $1 more for a Dole Whip). For more information, check our post here.
Rounding out the foodie updates is something we’re pretty sad about. As part of Downtown Disney’s upcoming makeover, Earl of Sandwich at Disneyland Resort is closing its doors on January 27. Disneyland will begin a multi-year refurbishment of Downtown Disney, and some stores will be demolished in the process. Read the full scoop in the OC Register — and if you want one of these fan-favorite sandwiches before the restaurant closes, head to Earl of Sandwich in the next couple of weeks.
Great Ticket Deals for Florida Residents
Okay, back to the good Disney news. We have a fantastic new ticket deal to share! Walt Disney World locals, this one is for you. Disney has debuted a new discounted theme park ticket for Florida residents. If you live in Florida, you can now purchase 2-day, 3-day, or 4-day Disney Weekday Magic Tickets ranging in price from $149 to $199 per person. This is an incredible deal if you want to get to the parks soon and you live in Florida, so jump on it if you want to experience a bit of magic in the new year. Get the full scoop from AllEars here!
The Spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Reopens Soon
Want to experience Disney World luxury? We have the perfect update for you. The Grand Floridian Spa is reopening on January 26 and inviting guests to book rejuvenating treatments, including various massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and complete spa packages. This is perfect if you’re craving some relaxation on your next Disney trip. For more information and booking details, visit the official website.
Disneyland Tram Testing
It’s official — the Disneyland trams are making a comeback in 2022! Disney confirmed this a few months ago, and fans have been itching for more info ever since the announcement dropped. Right now, we don’t have an exact date for when the trams will resume their route taking guests from the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structure to the drop-off point near the Disneyland and Disney California Adventure front gates, but we do have some happy news. Just a couple of days ago, theme park guests spotted the Disneyland trams on a test run. They weren’t transporting guests, but they were running and (assumedly) on a test drive before they come back for real. Stay tuned for more details when a return date is released!
