The list of Halloween snacks at Disney World this year is HUGE! We’ve been eating our way through all of the fall food across Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom to rank the treats for you. Now we’re sharing the five best Halloween snacks at Disney World in 2020! Here’s the creme de la dessert creme and the one treat that’s a total SKIP!
#5. Pumpkin Cheesecake Cannoli
If you saw our video review – you’ll know that this Pumpkin Cheesecake Cannoli sold at PizzeRizzo in Hollywood Studios is a real delight. It packs a crispy shell, velvety filling, and not too sweet toppings to make a fabulous fall snack. This was the classic cannoli update we never knew we needed!
#4. Pumpkin Pie Rice Krispie Treat
Rice Krispies just got a serious upgrade. Popping up at confectionaries at Disney Springs, The Boardwalk, and inside the Magic Kingdom, the Pumpkin Pie Rice Krispie treats are one of the Halloween snacks that surprised us the most. This little slice of heaven packs a serious pumpkin pie flavor wallop. We’re already hoping to see this snack back on the menu next year.
#3. Poor Unfortunate Souls Float
When we first read the description of the Poor Unfortunate Souls Float, we were…weirded out? Somehow the Coca Cola, Black Raspberry Syrup, and Cream Cheese Soft Serve all come together in a perfect delicious balance. During a hot day, this float is a serious lifesaver. We owe you one Ursula! Find it at Story Books Treats in Magic Kingdom.
#2. Pumpkin Fudge
Wow. There aren’t enough words in the English language to describe this block of Pumpkin Fudge heaven. Even with a few not big fudge fans in our crowd, this snack ranked at the top of our list. Decadent, over the top, pumpkin spicey, and fabulously sweet – get this fudge into your life! You can find it at confectionaries at Disney Springs, on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom, and at The Boardwalk.
#1. Pumpkin Spice Mickey Waffle Sundae
The line for Sleepy Hollow Treats wraps around the stand a few times at almost every hour of the day. The crowds aren’t wrong. Hands down the run away most perfect Disney Halloween snack goes to this mind blowingly good Pumpkin Spice Mickey Waffle sundae. You won’t be disappointed by the warm spiced waffles smothered in homemade vanilla ice cream. We’re starting the petition to make jumbo pumpkin spice Mickey waffles a permanent menu selection.
Honorable Mention: Poison Candied Carmel Apple
While this one didn’t quite squeak into our top 5, the Poison Candied Carmel Apple at Starbucks inside Hollywood Studios deserves an honorable mention. Don’t be deceived by its looks; this adorable little apple is actually a soft creamy apple mousse. The mousse is light, airy, and bursting with flavor!
Skip It: Box of Bones Chocolate Eclair
The sad winner for the biggest let down of the season goes to the Box of Bones Chocolate Éclair at the Backlot Express in Hollywood Studios. This éclair was closer to a mushy wet cake than anything else. The filling brought almost nothing to the flavor party too. Save your calories for elsewhere!
