Doing The Most at Disney California Adventure in Just 6 Hours

On a recent Sunday trip to Disney California Adventure, we tackled the park in less than seven hours before Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party began that evening.

This Halloween season, the guest-favorite event Oogie Boogie Bash has taken over Disney California Adventure on select nights throughout September and October. But guests with regular park tickets or Magic Key passes can still visit the park during the day up until the event starts in the evening. (Check the Disneyland app for the latest information on theme park hours and operations.)

So, what can you experience at California Adventure in just a half-day visit? Actually, there is so much to do!

You will see in our vlog that we hustled to board WEB-SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure in Avengers Campus, and we practically walked on Mater’s Junkyard JamBOOree, which has a Halloween overlay, in Cars Land. After brunch at Lamplight Lounge on Pixar Pier, we enjoyed the rides with the lowest wait times and used Single Rider queues when possible. Our goal was to ride the most attractions in a short amount of time while still soaking in that Disney magic.
