Theme parks in California are getting back to business in April. Universal Hollywood has announced that they’re rolling the red carpet out for guests starting Friday, April 16, following the limited-time Taste of Universal event. With the reopen comes some important changes to the park’s operation and general capacity. We’ve got the lowdown here for you!
Tickets + Reservations
With the park set to reopen on April 16, online ticket purchases will start on Thursday, April 8. But before you dive back into the park, there are a couple things to know beforehand.

Park visits are limited to California residents only for the foreseeable future.

The party size for Universal Hollywood will be limited to “a maximum of three households and ten people”.
Universal also shared that guests who purchased tickets prior to April 8, 2021 will need to make “an advance reservation for their visit dates”. These advance reservations can be made online starting April 5.
Pass Members
Pass Members can look forward to some exclusive access to Universal Hollywood as the park reopens! A series of complimentary Bonus Days will be available to Pass Members on select days from April 15 through May 16.
April 15 will be a special Pass Member preview day to kick off the Bonus Day period.
Pass Members can look forward to using their passes as normal on May 17!
