It’s a little hard to believe that it’s October finally, but it’s officially time to get spooky again! And of course October isn’t complete without our full round up of what all is coming to Disney Plus this month. From new documentaries to all new seasonal movies, we’ve got the entire list of new things coming with our usual collection of additions we’re especially excited to see!

MUPPETS HAUNTED MANSION

Muppets Haunted Mansion is available starting on October 8th. Welcoming all foolish Muppets, this special sees the Muppets taking up roles in the Haunted Mansion. Gonzo and Pepe have to navigate their way through the mansion for a single night where they seemingly avoid all signs of ghosts until it smacks them in the face. Guest stars include Taraji P. Henson, Will Arnett, Danny Trejo, and Sasheer Zamata. LEGO STAR WARS TERRIFYING TALES

LEGO is back with another Star Wars special on October 1st. Terrifying Tales follows an eclectic cast of our faves, including Poe Dameron, Luke Skywalker, and Darth Vader. In this special, Darth Vader’s castle has been turned into a Sith luxury hotel where Poe finds himself after having to make an emergency landing on the planet of Mustafar. The voice cast includes Jake Green, Raphael Alejandro, and Dana Snyder. This special promises spooky tales from another galaxy. AMONG THE STARS

So let’s talk about some space! Among the Stars is a new documentary series that hits Disney Plus on October 6th. The series will follow the NASA mission that a team has undertaken to repair the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) over the course of two years. This documentary series should be pretty eye opening as to what goes into space repair and just how international space travel can truly get as the series filmed in places like Houston, Cologne, Tokyo, and Star City.https://www.youtube.com/embed/HzNM5TiazOk?wmode=opaque&enablejsapi=1

THUMBELINA

So if you’ve got your fill of Halloween content already, Thumbelina is landing on Disney Plus on October 22nd. I haven’t watched this movie in years, but I do remember the soundtrack being full of ear worms (definitely thanks to Jodi Benson as the voice of Thumbelina). Originally released in 1994 and full of the notable Don Bluth influence (remember The Land Before Time? That was Don Bluth!), Thumbelina will definitely be a bit of a walk down memory lane.
